COPENHAGEN — A report titled “Venture Capital: Beyond The Pretty Faces” by the MacMillan School of Business Studies of the University of Glasgow reveals that, concealed behind a modernist, fashionista, unprejudiced facade, venture capital funds are simply “sleek-looking oligarchies with smooth web designs”. According to the report, decision making in VC organizations “boils down to one person or two giving the thumbs signal, Gladiator-style, while everyone else carries ornate titles but are mere secretaries or unnecessary filler”.
