Space Startups: Series E Rounds, Sophisticated Euphemism For ‘Hopeless Unprofitability’

PRAGUE — A recent wave of Series E financing rounds announced by a set of space startups has raised eyebrows on profitability and the performance of these companies as mere money burning machines with weak products and strong losses, thus requiring them to frequently engage in what some call  “white-collar begging” to keep on existing. Investors’ continuing support on decade-old hopeless space ventures remains an active research topic among behavioral psychologists.
